Ascomata hysteriform no carbonaceus
Asci Clavate, bitunicate
paraphysis filiform
Ascospores asymetric, 5 septa, hyaline surrounded by a thick gelatinous sheath.
thank for your help

Re : Hysteropeltella?
Ah, not sure what this is. Hysteropatella I only know without gel sheath.
Hysteropeltella has 1-septate spores and only one species on a fern is known.
Did you test IKI?

Re : Hysteropeltella?
Hi Zotto, I did it wiht lugol and all the hamathecium became red. no reaction blue in asci.(I have no IKI)
I am confussed with it, The ascomata fits wiht both of them, I would like to find the descriptions of Hysteropatella species. Hysteropeltella as you said only has one specie" moravica".
I will continue......
best regards
Angel

Re : Hysteropeltella?
Lugol and IKI is the same and only varies in concentration.
If it turns red, you should make the test with KOH-pretreatment. Adding 2-10% KOH for some seconds on the slide, then washing with a drop of water, and then add Lugol. I suspect it will then react deep blue.
Hysteropatella is competely inamyloid.

Re : Hysteropeltella?
This orange colour may really be a hemiamyloid reaction.

Re : Hysteropeltella?
But is not reaction on apical ring of asci. In Hysteropatella no any coment about lugol´s reaction.
I am lost with it by the moment

Re : Hysteropeltella?
Hysteropatella spp. are completely inamyloid, whatever you do. You can look in my folder on
http://invivoveritas.de/ascomycetes-illustrations/
go to 4b Dothideomycetes
then Patellariales IKI-
I assume in your species the gel around the asci is strongly hemiamyloid , but I am not sure.
