Phaeohelotium terrestre?
Pavol Palo, 05-11-2016 18:49
Hello friends,

what do you think about Phaeohelotium terrestre?
I found it on the dead wood of willow, but this not lie directly on the ground.
The largest fruiting body diameter of 7 mm with short stalks about 3 mm.
Ascospores (12)14-16 x (4)5-6 µm
IKI -
Croziers -

Regards

Re : Phaeohelotium terrestre?
I think this is Hymenoscyphus conscriptus. typical on Salix and getting rather large. Spores fit very well. But  asci should be amyloid and the asci with croziers. I am quite confidental that this is also the case with your sample. Amyloidity is best seen from dead asci, and croziers in the context, perhaps in KOH + Congo Red..

Re : Phaeohelotium terrestre?
Thank Zotto
I really found a crosier, and ultimately amyloid response ascii but it is very weak

Re : Phaeohelotium terrestre?
It's a little unsharp but I can see the crozier also.
