Mycosphaerella ? on Scoenoplectus lacustris
Pauline. Penna, 02-08-2015 21:46
This specimen was found on dead stems of Schoenplectus lacustris in a dune slack on the North coast of Cornwall, UK in July.
The pseudothecia immersed, black, 100 microns diameter. The 'diamond ' shaped asci are 40 x 10 microns, eight spored, the spores one septate 10-11 x 2 microns. i thought it may be Mycosphaerella scirpi- lacustris but this appears to have much larger spores and there is only one record for the UK.

Any ideas please?
