Pyrenomicete

Hi all:

I found this Ascomycete on elm bark.
Pseudothecia are 250-350um diameter, ostiolated, immersed in the substrate.
I thought I could be a kind of Wettsteinina, but does not fit well.
Any ideas?
Thanks greetings

Susana

Re : Pyrenomicete
Rather interesting, Susana. Does it react blue in KOH + IKI? Did you test it? Do the spores have a sheath? It appears as if so due to the distance the spores are lying each other in water.

regards,
björn

Re : Pyrenomicete
Hello Björn:

I tested with KOH + IKI, and no blue reaction.
It is observed in all ascas one apiculum at the apex.
I do not see the gelatinous sheaths in spores.
Do you have any idea?

greetings
Susana

Ok then its probably not Wettsteinina, its something else. But for now I do not know what it is. May you send a part of it to me? ;)
