Bernard

Re : Lophodermium piceae ?
Good evening Peter,
Thank you for your confirmation and your beautiful didactic photos! I realize that my Lophodermium piceae was not yet mature and therefore still closed.
Best regards,
Bernard

Re : Lophodermium piceae ?
Hi Bernard,
Lophodermium-species shut surely quickly with aridity again and also need long to be open again. This applies on nearly all Rhytismatales. I put the substrates to be examined always on damp kitchen paper in a closed box and ventilate daily. In the moment You find with guarantee Lophodermium species on needels from Larix, Juniperus, Picea, Pinus.....and caulicole from Paeonia of the last year.
Greetings
Peter.
