Hi all,a few days ago I have found a small, single
Ascocoryne??
Malcolm Greaves,

Found in moss on a fallen log in deciduous woodland. Looking like a pale Ascocoryne but with unusual curved to "s" shaped spores 18-19 x 7 with one large guttule.
The tips of the ascii are blued in Meltzers.
Thanks
Malcolm

Re : Ascocoryne??
Dear Malcolm
it looks Ascocoryne-like but it is Tatraea dumbirensis. The spores are dead on your photo, they would be multiguttulate when alive. The shape of amyloid ring is typical of that species.

Thanks for that Zotto. If only I had the semblance of a memory I would have remembered the find I made last year that was id'd here. There is now a entry pencilled in my books so I do not embarrass myself by asking again next year.
