Hola, he recogido estas muestras sobre ramas muy degradadas y humedas,de Corylus, a unos 1000m, las medidas de las Ascas son muy grandes para Hymenoscyphus y un poco pequeñas para Bisporella, a ver que opinan Ustedes ???Diametro 1--3 mm, altura similar,
Ascas J -,he realizado varias preparaciones en muestras diferentes y todas dan IKI negativo, miden entre 185--204 X 10--11.
Esporas miden entre 14--16 X 4,5--6,3, con dos gotas lipidicas mayores y varias pequeñas, estas gotas mas grandes miden de diametro entre 1,9 y 2,2.
Parafisis filiformes X 1,5--X 2, septadas, apice redondeado, y gotas oleosas a lo largo.

Could be Bisporella citrina or confluens (now Calycina). Did you use Melzer? How is the iodine reaction in IKI?

You need to put iodine crystals into your Lugol because it is much too diluted. The yellow colour of the iodine must stain the asloplasma, otherwise the concentration is too low.

Hola Rafael,
if you go for new chemicals, look for Lugol's solution ( =IKI, without the letal chloral hydrate) and Meltzer's reagent separatelly. At least in Helotiales Lugol's will be the reagent of your choice: http://www.cybertruffle.org.uk/cyberliber/59575/0029/0399.htm

Rafa, yo veo el ápice de las ascas azul, a pesar de que el reactivo esté flojo. Bisporella es un género "transformista", se disfraza muchísimo.
