Moellerodiscus ?
Patrice TANCHAUD, 01-07-2014 20:15
Bonsoir,

Re : Moellerodiscus ?
Could be Ciborinia (Ciboria) capillipes, but then it should have an elongate sclerotium formed on Alnus leaves. Can you show or did you see very well the stipe base how it emerges from the leaves?

That species occurs with 4- and 8-spored asci.

Re : Moellerodiscus ?
At the base of the stipe, I thought it was degraded leaves, but you're right, it's probably a degraded sclerotia. Zotto, thank you for this review that puts me in the right Genus.

Re : Moellerodiscus ?
There is a paper by Uwe Lindemann 2011 on the species, but in German (Boletus 33: 63-77). Here in attach.
