Hello, Found by Laurens van der Linde, Nov. 2025
Hi again
I'd like to know your opinion about this Leptotrochila species growing on previous years leaves of Silene (alba?, vulgaris?) at 1400 m of altitude
Thanks again
I did not see asci and paraphyses, did I miss part of it?
Zotto
Very interesting and unknown to me. My database has only Pyrenopeziza capsulicola Petrak 1947 on Silene with such spore size, but this has nonseptate spores.
Zotto
Thanks. I 'll send you it at higher resolution. At least, do you agree with me in the genus Leptotrochila?
I see any stromatal tissue under the apothecia
Did you look in Schüepp 1959?  I fear it is very difficult to compare there. Also I did not see the substrate Silene in his paper.
If you could identify the substrate to species, this would be imprtant.
Zotto
I must wait because tha plant has not flowers, only the enlarged flower calyces are present.
I don't look this fungus in Schüepp's paper
