Yanick BOULANGERBonjourRécolté sur une brindille au fond d'un fo
once again I find myself in trouble with determination.
These ascos are about 0,2 mm wide.
The spores are about 12-20x2,5-3 and contain few small droplets.
The asci are about 50-60x5-6.
Hairs are hyaline, septate and microphotos once again horrible.
Marja
Hi Marja,
Very nice !
Look at the genus Lasionectria.
Alain
Did you test KOH ?
Are ascospores striate ?
If ascospores are striate, your fungus is perhaps close to L. sylvana.
Alain
thank you!
How interesting, I've never found a Lasionectria before.
I'll do some more studies later. Hope to get better photos then.
Just that my microscope is useful only up to 500x.
Marja
KOH did not affect the hairs.
The asci may be wider, up to 8.
The spore ornamentation do not show in my microscope, but some spores had developed a septum in KOH.
I'd like to get some litterature about xyzNectrias and Cosmosporas etc,
Any recommendations?
Marja

it would be great if you could send me your specimens.
Best regards
Christian
