Scutellinia
Malcolm Greaves, 30-05-2014 16:35
Malcolm GreavesThis Scutellinia was on a path through a wet area of forest of mixed woodland but I think spruce was locally present.
The hairs were c 400 x 30 thick walled 3/4 septate with simple bi-furcate roots.
The spores were 19-20 x 11-11.7 with large irregular tubercules.
The spore shape point to S. cejpii but the tubercules look a bit big and the spores are slightly short for that species. I have suggested S. heterosculpturata before and been wrong but this does look close.
