Hello,I found this black frb on unknown herbacious stem. Size up to 0,4mm, spores
8/11x2µm with 2/3 small droplets (<1µm) at the ends of the spores. Asci
28/38x6/8µm, hairs 23/32x3.5/5µm. Asci base colouring red in Lugol.
Any suggestions? Maybe P gallica?

I already gave the idea of Pirottaea gallica by mail. P. senecionis has longer spores.

Close call if you ask me but I have no expereince at all with this genus. When I compare both species in my key , my measurements fit better P senecionis, especially because  I also saw systematicly the minute guttules at both poles
Spores 7-12x2-3 ?m, 0(1)-septate, with a few minute guttules at both poles, LC 2; setae 25-60 ?m long; saprobic on stems of Senecio silvaticus, S. viscosus; phen.: IV-VIII Pirottaea senecionis
Spores 7-9 ?m long, non-septate; asci 30-35x5-6 ?m: setae mostly 30-45 ?m long; saprophytic on Cichoriumc(similar fungi onCicerbita and Picris); phen.: VIII-IXÂ Pirottaea gallica
PS the only thing about the host that I remember was that it was robust (min 1meter tall  with 1cm diam.

I assume you use Bernard's key. I abandoned P. senecionis because I have in my folder a number of collections in which the spores show a range of around 10-14 or 12-18 µm. Hope they are not misidentified.
