this looks very interesting. Did you also mount in water without any stain? This would be very important especially for the spores. Also the structure of the marginal hairs would be necessary to know.
If you want you can send me the specimen. I suppose it is still alive as it looks drought-tolerant. I have presently no idea of the species, but it is an Orbilia for certain.
