Dothideomycete ?
Garcia Susana, 26-02-2014 10:11
Hi all

I found these perithecia growing together on hardwood.
Pyriform perithecia are immersed with a hairy white collar around the ostiolar papilla.
The spore size is very large and ascospores having 9-15 transversal septa. Mature spores dark green color.

Any idea?
Thank you, greetings

Susana

Re : Dothideomycete ?
Dear Susana,
could you please send me the material, dried at room temperature. I am currently working on such fungi. Is the tree an oak (Quercus)?
Thanks, Walter

Re : Dothideomycete ?
Thanks Christian for the determination.
Hi Walter, The number of perithecia is low, but we will send them. I think the substrate is Quercus, but I can not be sure.

Regards
Susana
