Melanospora on Juniperus
Marja Pennanen, 12-02-2014 17:38
Hello,

once again an old collection.
The fruitbodies are about 0,5 mm wide and covered with hyaline hairs.

The spores are about 18-20x10-12.

My sources do not include this kind of Melanospora.
Hopefully someone here has got better sources: Marja

Re : Melanospora on Juniperus
I think this is Melanospora caprina. See attached paper - it's old but still works, more or less.

Thank you!

M. caprina seems to fit very well.
