Vasileios KaounasZaros Heraklion Crete, alt. Approximately 400 m, rural road, among moss, plants and perhaps a thin layer of manure, 29.12.2013.

 Ascocarp 0.3-0.5 cm diam., Some inherent, sessile, originally scrunched up later deep cup-shaped, with hairy perimeter, pale orange and pale orange-coated, rough outer surface.
Ascospores: 20,1-24,75 x 10,3-12,25 ?m, irregularly elliptical with narrower and almost flat ends, a visual nearly reniform, rough (in Melzer's), rounded cusps, with one or two large drops (in KOH).
Asci: x 11,9-15, 8 (18,35) micron, 8-seeds, cylindrical, non-amylaceous.
Hair, septal, thick-walled, with wide base and blunt tip.

Can you give us the colour of hairs? I suppose they are hyaline, but to be sure.

As the spores are verrucose, I exclude the genera Geopora (Sepultaria) and Tricharina, so it could be a member of the genus Jafnea or Aleurina (syn. Jafneadelphus).
Can you send to me a part of the collection for a deep study?
