Pezicula-like on Hedera

Dear all,yesterday I found these tiny ascomata (~0.2 mm in dm.) on a dead Hedera helix climbing a tree but cut at the bottom a considerable time ago. It was easy to pull down and the fruitbodies were found at the upper tips of the plant from a height of ca. 5 m above ground.
None of the asci showed its normal spore contents but most of them were filled by a granulose to globulose contents (microconidia?). The IKI-reaction of the apical apparatus was faint red (hemiamyloid). Nevertheless some allantoid spores could be observed floating in the medium. Some of them germinating, some of them one-septate.
My first thought was on Pezicula, but spores are way to small, (8.8)9.3-12.5x3.2-4 µm, and I found no species recorded on Hedera (Verkley).
Anyone with an idea?

Hallo Martin,
the texture of the fruitbodies looks macroscopically not like Pezicula to me, did you consider Claussenomyces ? C. prasinulus has 3 septate spores at (over)maturity and also forms conidiospores.

this is what I wanted to suggest next! You are right with your doubts with Pezicula, but the cushion-shaped apothecia of Claussenomyces prasinulus do not fit either.
I was looking since then after members of the Naevioideae and still I am.
I will try to access Hein's work of 1976 and study this. Maybe it brings me ahead...

But the plate on p. 25 is disillusioning! My fungus is neither errumpent nor sessile but shortly stipitate.
First I will try to do a section (a hard task with this tiny ascomata) before I proceed.

Laetinaevia is a good path to proceed although there are only few fruiting on woody substrates (none on Hedera yet).
I did not manage to make a section but I did a slide with Brilliant Cresyl Blue that shows spores inside the asci. I believe that these spores are germinating inside the asci while being one-septate.
I hope Zotto has something in his database that will match or help.

Hi Martin,
your collection did remind me a bit of L uvidula but yours seems to have a different spore L/W ratio. For the right picture I think there are germinating spores too. It is a pity I don't know DBASE 4.

I have presently no idea at present. L. uvidula is IKI-. A Parorbiliopsis perhaps? Would it be possible to male a section of the excipulum?

no, I did not manage a section yet. The remaining apos are too tiny and they fruit on loose bark (very uncomfortable to cut). Some new apos are growing now in the moist bag. I revisited the locus and collected some meters of the Hedera and inspected them under the dissecting microscope. But I did not find further colonies.
