Last week I collected a pyrenomycete on decorticate branch of Salix sp. (51°12'11,5'' N 4°2'54'' E) with following specs:
Ascomata semi-immersed, subspherical, 0,3-0,5 mm diam. by 0,4-0,6 mm high, with conical papilla, glabrous, black.?
Asci bitunicate, cylindrical, (6)8-sp., sp. 1-ser., 95-110x11-12 µm.Spores ellipsoid to fusiform, mostly with rounded ends, 16-25,5x7-10 µm, 3-septate, constricted at the middle septum, secondary septa not or slightly constricted, 2nd cell sometimes swollen, with a few guttules, smooth, yellowish brown.Pseudoparaphyses filiform, 1-2 µm diam., base short-celled and 3 µm diam. Ectal excipulum of dark brown, thick-walled textura globulosa-angularis.
Could this be Plenodomus hendersoniae? The same species has been collected on Rosa sp. and Rubus fruticosus agg. (preference for Rosaceae?).
