Hi to allThese blackish, sessile and minute ascomata grew on the wood of lying branches of Sarothamnus scoparius at 1500 m of altitude.
The asci are IKI negative (KOH pret. = negative too), croziers + and they have 8 ascospores 3-septate inside the living asci.
Ascomata KOH negative. Marginal 'hairs' blackish brown 2-3 celled Medullary excipulum is subhyaline. Ectal excipulum blackish brown or olivaceous black.
The provisional Baral's name of 'Mollisia cytisi' has asci IKI bb
I don't know this species. Can you help me again?

what strange fungus! The spores look as like Durella (Xylogramma), but excipulum and paraphyses with VBs speak for a Mollisia! How large are the apos?

The apos are minute, up to 1 mm in diam.
In fact, when I saw the spores I thought in a Durella species but thes Vb's of the paraphyses and the excipulum speak clearly for a Mollisia species.

VBs actually exist in some Durella species (D. connivens, D. commutata), but the excipulum is very different.

Well, that exists, especially on grasses. On wood I know only some with 1-septate spores I think.

Yes I know the ones on grasses but not on wood...they always have non-septated spores in my area :D
