Re : Sarea resinae
Hi Alex,
this species is rather common in France, especially in low mountain. I've several collection of it.
Cheers,
Christian

Re : Sarea resinae
These resinicolous discomycetes are actually rarely collected. But they are frequent, Guy marson will affirm that. Apotheciao of S. resinae I did not see very often, but S. difformis is a common species, quite rapidly found on any larger black resinous wound of any conifer branches, the branches often still alive. Of course, they are well-masked. There is a blackish-olivaceous Orbilia also on these wounds, but this is much more difficult to find.
I have about 35 records of S. difformis in my database, many by Guy from Luxembourg and S-France, but also here around.

Re : Sarea resinae
Don't think so. The S. resinae anamorph forms yellow-orange pycnidia with hyaline conidia.
