STROMATA 2-4mm diam., pulvinate, cracked, with colour between smoke-grey(34*) and mouse-grey(35*), with many black pseudothecial locules that stick out of the cracks.
ASCOSPORES 10-12.5X5-5.5 micron , smooth, with a septum near a tip, hyaline to faint grey olivaceous(61*); inside the ascus the big cell is oriented towards the top
ASCI up to 90X7.5-8.5 micron , IKI- (not KOH pretreated) , bitunicate
PARAPHYSIS absent
HABITAT: on fallen dead leaves of Ulmus X hollandica, January.
