Dear friends:This Cosmospora? species grews on old stromata of Amphiporthe leiphaemia on Quercus robur branches.

Have you verify that the old stromata are those of an Amphiporthe and not those of Diatrypella quercina ?
Your photos of ascospores are wonderful !

Non. Je ne suis pas bien sur parce que les peritheces parasités sont tres vieux et ils n'ont pas de contenu, mais autres branches voisines sont colonisées par l'Amphiporthe.

could you please to make a vertical section of old stromata?
Ascospores of your specimen seems striate, this characteristic is unusual in the genus Cosmospora sensu lato. Moreover, it would be necessary to show the ascomata with hairs of your specimen and a vertical section of lateral wall.
