Dear all, today I found on dead overwintered tendrils of Calystegia/Convolvulus this anamorphous fungus that looks like caviar... ;-)
Any idea? I thought on Trichocladium but lacking proper literature.
Best regards,
Martin

Yes martin, it"s a rust, probably Puccinia convolvuli ou P. isiacae. So, not an asco !

Thanks Gernot and Alain,
yes this is certainly rust and possibly Puccinia convolvulum. I found now similar pictures as mine in the German Phytoparasite-Forum: http://www.pilzfotopage.de/Forum3/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3909&p=16487&hilit=calystegia#p16487 "Telien"-pictures 7 and 8.
Best regards
Martin
