A.cylichnium often has a "point" in center....but mostry is NOT POSSIBLE to identyfi this fungus only macro.
Withe A.sarcoides is sometimes possible, if together with teleomorph are presents anamorph...... but is also possible to find one piece of wood with A.sarcoidea anamorph and A.cylichnium teleomorph intermixed :)
Also - Ascocoyne spec.

I certainly agree, Ascacoryne sp., and without a microscopic examination impossible to identify to species, and since there is yet to be a definitive mkonograph, probably not with certainty even then!
