Hi there,
before 3 weeks ago i found on a tribe (probably alnus) infection of fungi on gnats and flys.
I have no idea how to determine this fungi and hope you can help me.
Spores :
39-46 x 10-12 µm

Definitely not Entomophthora muscae, Pandora is a better possibility. This is not an easy group (and of course not ascomycetes ;-) ); this may help (nomenclature is out of date - check Index Fungorum and / or Mycobank) In your PDF viewer (I prefer Foxit over Adobe Reader) view as "Facing Pages" as the text is on one side and the images opposite:
