unknown anamorph
DirkW, 19-12-2016 19:11
DirkWsalut a tous,

has anybody an opinion on this anamorph, growing on sambucus? always 3-septated, pointed, with lighter cells on top, very constant in lenghth with spores 16-18 x 7-8. looks quite similar to something of hysterium, but its clearly an anamorph.
i can't say much to stromata, black, embedded, more edged than rounded, 0,5-1mm. i don't think that its host-specific, because some time ago i found the same on castanea.

all best

Re : unknown anamorph
It's difficult to be sure without seeing the conidiogenous cells and conidioma, but the conidia resemble Seimatosporium to me.  Do any of the conidia have basal and/or apical appendages?
