This seems both macro- and microscopically fairly distinctive and interesting to me. Maybe someone knows the species?

This is Calycellina araneocincta. Very close to C. lachnobrachya but with yellow VBs and specific to Betula.
Both species are unsequenced as far as I know, only C. lachnobrachyoides is in GenBank. To base a distinct species solely on colour is unusual, therefore I wonder about the genetic distance between the two.

Thanks for the info. So this time it was a Calycellina! I found Phialina lachnobrachya from our species list (apparently a synonym for C. lachnobrachya), but no araneocincta. Maybe I'll try to find more to make a sample for storage.

yes, some authors follow Huhtinen to place the group in Phialina.
