Re : Cyathicula coronata (Bull.) Rehm
Yes, but this doesn't look like C. coronata.

Re : Cyathicula coronata (Bull.) Rehm
Hmm, the VBs are elongated, very impossible for a Cyathicula. Did you photograph the ectal excipulum? Are the apos cartilaginous?
Perhaps it is a Hymenoscyphus. But when neglecting the apical ring this reminds me of Allophylaria macrospora.
What is the substrate? The latter grows on wood.

Re : Cyathicula coronata (Bull.) Rehm
Yes, it's decorticated wood. Perhars Carpinus or Fagus. Impossible to know.
No, I haven"t take picture of ectal excipulum. Too gelatinosus.

Re : Cyathicula coronata (Bull.) Rehm
Yes, that is the case with Allophylaria too - not easy to make a section or squash mount.
If you have more apical rings in IKI we could fix the name.
Fagus and Carpinus are quite easy to distinguish by a cross break.

Re : Cyathicula coronata (Bull.) Rehm
Yes, it's Carpinus.

I will try to make a new picture tomorrow because now all is dry.
I will tell you.
