Dear all.I have studied several collections of Pse
Xylaria oxyacanthae on seeds of Prunus spinosa?

on 06/07/21 in Koksijde, Belgian coastal region, I accidentally came across some interesting Xylaria in older dune area.
The habitat was located in the middle of a scrub of Blackthorn where some old Hawthorns grew here and there.
At the foot of a blackthorn four Xylaria grew scattered on blackthorn kernels.
At first glance I immediately thought of Xylaria oxyacanthae but here they did not grow on Hawthorn seeds.
The microscopy yielded little or nothing, as it probably concerns immature specimens.
In this context, I am looking for the paper by Yu-Ming Ju et al. (2018) in Mycologia 110(4):726-749.
Can someone deliver this to me?
And final question can this effectively concern X.oxyacanthae?
Thanks for the responses,
William

Re : Xylaria oxyacanthae on seeds of Prunus spinosa?
Hi William,
you should get back to this place in autumn and try to find mature stromata.
According to morphology and ITS data by Ju et al.,, X. oxyacanthae is plurivorous.
I am sending you the paper.
Cheers,
Jacques

Thank you very much, Jacques. I will try to mark some specimen next week so that I can find them within a few months :-)
