Stalked discs on wood

Clustered and up to 4.5mm across most with a short stalk.
The asci (blue tips in meltzers) are c150 um long, the paraphyses filiform and the spores distinctly bent and range from 17 - 24 um long.
Thanks

Re : Stalked discs on wood
Hello.
I think it could be Tatraea dumbirensis. It grows traditionaly on Fagus wood. Is it the case here?

Good morning Malcolm,
what about Tatraea? The article by H. O. Baral et al. is in the attachment.

Thanks Nicholas and Zuzana that fits well. I am not sure of the log but there were a lot of fagus in the wood. As it has only been found a few times in the UK I will probably pass this on to Kew.

Zotto, I have found Tatrae dubirensis too with Nicolas Van Vooren in France. We have written an article about this specie in Bull. Famm n°36 (2009) p.39. Sent for you in private.
Amitiés.
