I wondered if it would be possible for anyone to suggest the identity of this discomycete over-growing or emerging through a gelatinous fungus (/) on Ulex europeaus?
The only spores to be seen were still in a few asci - simple, warted, 10-12 x 7-10 µm

Please try to find out whether these are spores or an assemblage of minute conidia. In the latter case you have a species of Claussenomyces.

Yes! And this is at least a hint on C. atrovirens. These spores should also contain some longitudinal septa (muriform), and it looks so.
