Pyrenos on Betula leaf
Juuso Äikäs, 15-06-2022 17:31
These little pyrenos were growing on a fallen, decayed Betula leaf, picked from a bog.

The spores have a septum and long appendages and measure 13 - 15 × 1.9 - 2.2 µm (without appendages). Asci 26.4 - 29.7 × 7.5 - 8.4 µm, IKI negative.

The best candidate I've found is Ophiognomonia ischnostyla, but I'd appreciate a second opinion.
