spores dark smoky, allantoid, in 8-spored cylindric, long, asci. Spores 7,6-8,1 x 2,2-2,5 µm, rather thick-walled, apparently lenthwise striate, one-celled, without pores. Ascomata tiny, black, immersed in soft, deayed wood, neck short, papillatei. Apical apparatus tiny, I-. Peridium with coarse, dark cells.
