In The Netherlands i have found these ascomycetes. They are black and hard. The outside is not smooth.Â
They grow on a dead branch of Acer.Â
Ascospores: brownish 34-38 µm long and 16-18 µm wide.Â
Could it be Prosthecium pyriforme ?Â
